    • Dense forest canopy (1-2 meters apart): Select the "Precision Obstacle Avoidance" mode, the speed will automatically drop to 0.3-0.5km/h, and the lidar will be used to scan gaps in the forest canopy to generate a "Z-shaped walking path" to avoid scratching branches.

  1.   1. Precise travel and delivery 

    • Driving along the auxiliary line, the obstacle avoidance system adjusts the direction in real time (no manual intervention is required), automatically pauses when encountering sudden obstacles (such as low-hanging branches), and continues after confirming safety.;

    • Obstacle avoidance system: Click "Radar Self-Check" to ensure that the laser radar and vision camera are not blocked (the lens dust and leaves need to be cleaned before canopy operations);

    • Anti-skid check: Confirm that the tire pressure is normal (it is recommended that the tire pressure be 0.2 bar higher than that on flat ground for mountain operations), and turn on the "tire anti-skid mode" (shortcut key on the central control screen).

  1. Safety measures during operation 

    • Driving down a steep slope (slope 15-25°): The system automatically turns on the "slow descent mode", controls the speed to ≤0.5km/h, and electronic braking intervenes in stages to avoid rolling away.; Coasting in neutral is prohibited ;

    • Obstacle avoidance alarm processing: Yellow alarm (approaching obstacle) requires no operation, the system automatically detours; Red alert (risk of collision) The transport aircraft stops urgently and needs to manually adjust its direction before restarting.

  1. Safe closing after delivery 

    • After the cargo is unloaded, switch to "no-load climbing mode" (increased power for easier return) and return along the original path (the system memorizes the route to avoid secondary path exploration);

    • When returning, turn off the obstacle avoidance system (to save power), but keep "steep slope braking" on; After arriving at the safe area, turn off the power according to normal procedures and check the job report.

Key taboos

  • It is strictly prohibited to carry out operations in the canopy when visibility is <5 meters (heavy fog, heavy rain) or when wind force is ≥ level 6;

  • It is prohibited to turn on the "high-speed mode" during canopy operations. Even if the gap is wide, the speed must not exceed 1.5km/h.;

  • If the brake alarm sounds when working on a steep slope, press the "emergency brake" immediately. Do not try to reverse or turn. Wait for personnel to check before operating.
